Technical Lead – Azure

COMPENSATION - £60k- £70k Basic + package

Technical Lead – Azure

Codeace is currently recruiting for a Technical Lead – Azure for our client, a leading retailer, who are undertaking a large-scale project. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Technical Lead – Azure with extensive experience on Microsoft Azure, Hosting infrastructure and Office 365.

Role: Primary Technology lead focused on delivery of hosting solutions. The role will fulfil project related work and level 3 problem resolution in conjunction with the service desk team.

Note: Must have Azure, Office365 (email, SharePoint, MS Office) and Dynamics experiences


Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary technical lead for Microsoft Azure and on-premise hosting infrastructure.
  • Responsible for the security best practices on the Azure/Windows 10/Office 365 infrastructure to comply with industry standard frameworks and policies.
  • Delivers technical solutions in conjunction with other projects and working with Service Desk team for systems that require specialist internal support resources.
  • Maximise integrity and functionality of IT infrastructure through appropriate strategic planning, design, operation, maintenance and monitoring of hardware, software and network systems.
  • Plans, organizes, and manages technical support for relevant technologies within the Hosting Tower.
  • Ensures appropriate systems, policies, budgets, controls, and procedures are in place to support sound, legal practices in support of the strategic direction of the business.
  • Provide specialist support to company Partners and Directors to assist in problem resolution.
  • Manage projects as required to install new IT equipment and software
  • Supplier Management


Required skills:

  • MCSE Certified engineer
  • Microsoft cloud technology infrastructure design and support: Azure, Office365 (email, SharePoint, MS Office) and Dynamics
  • Advanced functional knowledge of operating systems, applications, utilities
  • Good understanding of hybrid Azure hosting infrastructure- – Express route, Recovery Service Vault and Virtual networks.
  • Proven experience of PC, server and network administration and support.
  • Exposure to an international environment is desirable
  • Good understanding of the basic principles behind technical support processes & procedures.
  • High-level responsibility for security and data protection within a multi-site network

Digital Architect

COMPENSATION - £90,000+ GBP per annum

LOCATION - London

SCHEDULE - Permanent


The Digital Solution Architect is a key role forming a critical bridge between the business Digital team and the IT team ensuring the on-going effectiveness, consistency and integrity of solutions being delivered.

The project will be based on an Insurtech policy administration system, coupled to a custom low code front end, and integrate to the existing back off systems for finance and related services.

The individual will have key contribution to the design and delivery of Digital Project, and similar responsibilities as assigned on non Digital Portfolio projects & programmes as capacity allows.

 

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the integrity of project solution in alignment to the agreed IT Strategy, Data Strategy and Process Governance

Support / deliver designs of the integration of the systems involved in the processes

Own the technical and integration design for the project, especially the integration of Digital to the existing back office systems

Facilitate a design authority process to ensure overall solution integrity

Contribute to, and support, the formulation of Business, Data and Non-Functional requirements

Participate in solution option investigations and liaise with IT system and business owners as needed

Lead Architect - Supply Chain

COMPENSATION - £90,000+ GBP per annum

Codeace is currently supporting a global business in search for a Lead Architect with extensive experience in Supply Chain Architecture. The Lead Solution Architect will be leading the efforts for the businesses most important technology change piece. The organisations approach to Architecture is modern, encompassing event driven and API arranged microservices Architecture.


The Lead Architect will be responsible for leading the Solution Architecture team for Supply Chain as well as taking full accountability for Solution Design across warehousing, transportation management, customs brokerage and trade financing.


Ideally the Lead Architect will have worked as a Solution Architect for 10+ years who has moved into a Principal or Lead Architect role, managing a team with full accountability for Supply Chain solution design. The chosen Architect will possess excellent engagement skills, both written and verbal. In addition, the candidate will have worked for global businesses.

Senior UX/UI Designer

COMPENSATION - £90,000+ GBP per annum

LOCATION - London

SCHEDULE - Permanent  


 Key responsibilities:

  • Help define the visual style and position relative to client Delivery team’s design guidelines
  • Actively contributes towards product vision and user-centricity
  • Create distinctive, branded digital experiences that are desirable and consistent across multiple platforms, devices and channels
  • Develop new product concepts, storyboards, detailed interaction designs and screen flows, and prototypes to clearly articulate solutions
  • Create compelling visual designs that align to company and product brand standards
  • Track user experience metrics and reports on the success of UX improvements, including analytics
  • Set up and lead design thinking sessions and facilitate sessions to help drive creative problem solving and product creation
  • Collaborate with other designers within and cross-team to problem solve design challenges and maintain a level of design consistency
  • and coherence across client products
  • Actively collaborate as part of an agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately


Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design or equivalent area
  • English and Arabic speaker is a must have
  • 6+ years of experience as a designer
  • Graphical and Visual design skills, including the use of a diverse set of software such as Adobe Suite, Sketch, Figma, Invision
  • Proven experience working in design teams in an Agile product development setting
